We are a team of PhD-level researchers and former public sector executives working toward one goal: To transform the world of mobility, saving millions of dollars for our clients, improving the lives of their constituents, and helping the environment. We specialize in complex transportation systems, such as school transportation and paratransit, and bring a passion for innovation and efficiency to our work. We are part of Dynamic Ideas, with over 20 years’ experience launching products for finance, supply-chain management, revenue management, missile defense, and crime prediction and prevention.

Dimitris Bertsimas

Founder

Dimitris is a serial entrepreneur, founder of Dynamic Ideas and Dynamic Ideas Routing. He is also current Associate Dean of Business Analytics, Boeing Professor of Operations Research and faculty director of the Master of Business analytics at MIT.

John Hanlon

CEO and co-founder

John is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Dynamic Ideas Routing. He previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of Boston Public Schools where he oversaw Transportation and several other core departments, and was responsible for a quarter of the district’s $1B-plus budget. Prior to his role at BPS, John held other executive-level operations roles in the public and nonprofit sectors. He has an MBA from Duke University.

Diogo Lousa

Co-Founder

Co-Founder of Dynamic Ideas Routing, passionate about the use of technology to improve transportation. Diogo is a former Director of Paratransit Technology for MBTA in Boston. Co-creator of a first of its kind public private partnership with Uber and Lyft to deliver paratransit trips. He holds a civil engineering degree and MBA from MIT.

Mohammad Ghanne

Data Scientist

Mohammad is a data scientist at Dynamic Ideas and Dynamic Ideas Routing. He has considerable experience in Optimization and Stochastic Systems. He received his PhD in Operation Research from Oregon State University in 2016. He has published articles in premier academic journals for transportation and optimization.

Sareh Meshkinfam

Data Scientist

Sareh completed her PhD in Industrial Engineering in 2020 from North Carolina State University. She has notable experiences in a variety of fields including implementation of optimization, stochastic and machine learning tools for large scale data analytics.

Ali Haddad

Data Scientist

Ali is a data scientist at Dynamic Ideas Routing. He received his PhD in Operations Research in 2016 from Iowa State University. He has published articles related to supply chain optimization and has considerable experience in developing algorithms for last-mile delivery problems. Ali specializes in a range of subject areas, including machine learning and optimization.

Louis Raison

Data Scientist

Louis Raison is a data scientist at Dynamic Ideas Routing. He graduated from MIT with a Master in Business Analytics in 2020. At MIT, he took part in multiple research projects in regards to the transportation system in the US. His interests and experiences cover an extensive range of optimization and AI related topics, from routing algorithms to interactive data visualization and automatic music composition.
